Restart All Stopped Services and Drivers on Your Device
To ensure your device runs smoothly, restarting stopped services and drivers is often a necessary step. Whether you're troubleshooting errors, optimizing performance, or recovering from system issues, here’s how to restart these critical components safely.

Restarting All Stopped Services
What Are Services?
Services are background tasks that handle essential system operations like updates, networking, and security. Restarting them can resolve issues and restore functionality.

How to Restart Services
Using the Services Manager:
Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
Look for services marked as "Stopped."
Right-click each service and select Start.

Restarting Stopped Drivers
What Are Drivers?
Drivers allow your operating system to communicate with hardware components such as printers, keyboards, and graphic cards. Stopped or malfunctioning drivers can cause devices to stop working.

How to Restart Drivers
Using Device Manager:
Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
Locate devices with a warning icon or that aren’t functioning.
Right-click the device and select Disable device, then right-click again and choose Enable device.

Automating the Process
For easier management, you can use third-party tools like:

Driver Booster: Automatically identifies and updates outdated or stopped drivers.
Windows System Configuration (msconfig):
Press Win + R, type msconfig, and press Enter.
Go to the Services tab, enable necessary services, and restart the system.

Precautions
Backup System Data: Before making changes, create a system restore point.
Avoid Critical Services: Do not stop or disable core services like RPC, Windows Update, or Security Center.
Update Drivers Regularly: Use official sources or trusted tools to ensure the latest drivers are installed.

When to Restart Services and Drivers
After installing or updating software.
To fix system performance issues.
When devices like printers or network adapters stop responding.
By following these steps, you can ensure your system is fully operational and performing at its best.
