Fix Static & Dynamic IP & Enhancement of System Performance

Fixing Static and Dynamic IP Issues
Static IP Setup
Ensure Correct Configuration:
Open your network settings (e.g., Control Panel on Windows or Network Preferences on macOS).
Assign a static IP that matches the subnet of your router (e.g., 192.168.1.x where x is not in use).

Verify Gateway and DNS:
Set the correct gateway (usually your router's IP, e.g., 192.168.1.1).
Use reliable DNS servers like Google's (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) or Cloudflare's (1.1.1.1).

Check Conflicts:
Ensure no other device on the network uses the same static IP to avoid IP conflicts.

Dynamic IP Troubleshooting
Enable DHCP:
Ensure DHCP is enabled in your router settings to assign IP addresses automatically.

Renew Lease:
On Windows: ipconfig /release and then ipconfig /renew via Command Prompt.
On macOS: Go to System Preferences > Network, then click Renew DHCP Lease.

Check Lease Duration:
Configure lease duration in the router's DHCP settings to optimize performance (e.g., a longer lease for stable devices)

Enhancing System Performance
Optimize Network Settings:
Use QoS (Quality of Service) settings on your router to prioritize important traffic.
Upgrade router firmware for improved performance and stability.

System Maintenance:
Clear cache and temporary files on your system.
Disable unnecessary startup programs.
Ensure drivers (especially network drivers) are up-to-date.

Hardware Check:
Use a wired connection for critical systems if possible.
Upgrade to a dual-band router or mesh system for better coverage and speeds.

Monitor Bandwidth Usage:
Identify and limit devices or applications consuming excess bandwidth.

Use Tools for Diagnostics:
Tools like Wireshark for detailed network analysis.
Tools like Task Manager (Windows) or Activity Monitor (macOS) to monitor system resource usage.
